The abuse starts with the word "selfie," which used to mean something the user controlled.

I share your sentiment re. privacy, etc. but your claim is nonsense, selfie always meant what it means, a self-taken self-photo, nothing more and nothing less.

They already have our fingerprints, now they want to collect our faces.. in the age of AI that can put these faces anywhere.. Yup, definitely will give it to google. I can trust them, right?
