The low-power IPS touchscreen offers an amazing battery runtime and with great input devices as well as optional 5G connectivity, this is a great business laptop.

AFAIK: DDR5 SO-DIMM dual-channel (2*64-bit per channel) = LPDDR5X octa-channel (8*16-bit). Calling it a "128-bit system memory bus width" (the fast majority of laptops, mini-PCs and desktop PCs has a 128-bit RAM bus width), would be clear regardless.
119 GB/s = 128-bit * 7467 MT/s / 1000 / 8.
And yes, 7467 MT/s is not top of the line, that would be 9600 MT/s, that Panther Lake also supports. Maybe there is a 9600 MT/s X14 Carbon config.

If you care about using this laptop for AI extensively, know that with current SOTA, for its size, AI LLM Qwen3.6-35B-A3B model and its lowest usable quant, you will be restricted to about this amount of context:

So, should you require more context for AI, get a 48 GB RAM config (if it exits) or the 64 GB RAM config.

A 9600 MT/s config will run AI token generation 9600/7467 = 28.5% faster. The 28.5% higher memory bandwidth should also allow for a faster iGPU, which in turn will result in faster prompt processing. (see the mentioned topic=315954.0, if you don't know what these terms mean)

Normally I don't care what the latencymon program shows, but three laptops are very slow, not only the sounds are lagging, but also when you click on something with the mouse, it doesn't respond as quickly as old portable laptops, nothing helps... It seems like everything started after the 11th generation of Intel processors... Can someone turn on latencymon with "High performance mode" and watch for 2 minutes to see if it exceeds 1000 on idle? Thank you.

And then they put in a cheap plastic trackpad that feels like garbage and cost $1 to make.

My X1 Carbon Gen 14, X7 358H, 64GB LPDDR 9600 MT/s, 120Hz 2.8K OLED with touch, weights 1052gr(1.05kg).
LCD panel colors are not only off, that piece of s*** looks like the lcd on my DELL XPS from 2005 back in the days.
That's Lenovo, the screens their allow themselves to put into their laptops in 2026 is as cocky as it gets.
That obviously paid clown of a reviewer just made me f mad, while I'm trying hard to justify €3500 I paid, and by the way, here it comes: 512GB gen 4 ssd, no OS, Camera doesn't work on Fedora/Arch 7.2, thanks RedHat+Arch community, there is some workaround for IMX471, 720p for streaming with color correction, if not enough light it's dark/unusable.
The work around will be implemented on Arch Kernel vers 7.3. So, four-five months(?) from now, who knowns.
My question is of course how does Lenovo offer Ubuntu and Fedora installation for €30 with dead camera...
Now, battery life, 25 hours ROFL.
I don't know how it is possible, maybe:
LCD, lowest available brightness, all background apps intentionally killed,
1080p video playback of MP4 loaded from the ssd.
Realistic: I've got on Fedora Rawhide Kernel 7.2 RC4 around 7 hours, which is good considering that Lenovo didn't update the 54Wh battery for the last 6-7(?) years.

So much for a premium laptop using trash tier 325. Even the 355 is barely adequate on matching cpu of 258V and still mu8ch weaker on iGPU. 325 is an insult at the ludicrous prices X1 Carbon costs in Australia. But even for half the price, I would not tiouch the 325 with a 10' pole.

The bare minimum spec should be the 338H with it's 10 core B370 iGPU.

358H is the sweet spot IMO.
