Framework has nearly doubled Laptop 13 Pro LPCAMM2 memory prices, raising 32GB modules to $800 and 64GB modules to $1,600 after an unexpected supplier cost surge. What can they do. They are held hostage by ram manufacturers. If they don't accept the prices, they will have no memory to buy from. It's absolutely horrible what's happening right now. There is no way to regulate this, and this will be going for couple more years at least.

I think price-wise, if they are really on par with Macbook Pro quality, it still would be playing in the same price-turf, so not a tragedy. But still, not a single batch shipped, so we need to wait for the real users reviews...

I don't believe they are the only one who can go under because of this. I mean Valve got also pretty scruwd by that with the SteamMachine (even though for them it's not existentional, it's still a pitty...)
