Microsoft is force-upgrading unmanaged Windows 11 24H2 PCs to 25H2 ahead of October 13 end of support, but KB5083769 is still sending some machines into unrecoverable boot loops.

Can Microsoft just sell Windows already to someone that actually cares about it and it's user base. The Pajeet running the company clearly does not!

Thanks for well written update. My HP locked up and is in a boot loop. Took it to IT and they say it's becoming a trend over the past month.

Switching to Linux. I have 6 machines in for repairs thanks to Microsoft.

I'm not a fan of forced upgrades either, but it's important to separate the Windows 11 25H2 rollout from individual hardware failures. An OS update can certainly cause boot issues on some systems, but claims that it directly "killed" CPUs or phones should be taken with caution unless there's clear evidence.

That said, Microsoft really needs to improve its update quality control. When even a small percentage of users end up with boot loops or failed upgrades, it can create a lot of downtime and frustration, especially for people who depend on their PCs for work.
