48 GB VRAM to its Radeon 8060S iGPU

I didn't look at the price, but a Radeon 8060S is about as fast as a 4060 Laptop (see 3dmark.com/search). Get this if you want the 256 GB/s 48 GB VRAM/unified system RAM.

Correct, this applies to all Strix Halo memory configs (75% of the total memory can be allocated on Windows, but on 128 GB RAM configs this becomes a bit ridiculous).

Depends on the game. Recent vram heavy games (e.g. Forza Horizon 6) have it beating a 5070M.

For LLMs, I really don't know. But didn't Nvidia make fairly massive improvements recently on Blackwell? From what I understand the advancements weren't just in training but in inference as well.

Although they tested on GB300, so maybe much of it doesn't really apply to their consumer hardware(?)

Then again, CPU is becoming increasingly important for agentic ai workflows. Most rtx 4060 laptops are paired with CPUs which are much weaker. Halo is still one of the fastest CPUs on laptop.
