Some product generations don't quite live up to their names. A prominent example is AMD's latest Ryzen AI processors, as demonstrated by the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 14.

Not to defend AMD but you need to mention that Rizen Ryzen AI 7 450 IS the same processor as the previous gen Ryzen AI 7 350. It just has a 100mhz clock boost with a corresponding meager performance increase. All of this is mentioned on NC CPU page.
Basically, you are doing the same thing as AMD - miss-representing.

Yeah. Rebrandeon being rebrandeon, it's contagious. Ryzen became Rybranden too.

I cant understand what is your beef with notebookcheck here. Name definitely implies new generation (with the expected benefits new generation should bring) and notebokcheck did really good and professional job explaining actual situation and performance.
If only these standards are more followed around the web, internet would be much better place.

It's still stagnation no matter how you frame or dice it. Irrespective of whether it's intentional malice or pure incompetence.

And I don't have much sympathy for companies products being miss represented when they themselves are completely inept at it.

Maybe people would be more forgiving if they reduced the prices or at the very least kept them the same but no, they've all been raised for what is essentially yesteryear's performance.
