Would these same throttling and battery drain issues apply to the 32 core GPU variant of the 14" M5 Max?
Presumably it will consume less power?

You really need to find a similar CPU endurance test for MacOS, especially since Geekbench is notorious for only testing peak performance during bursts.
[you re a fucking x86 sheep INCEL RAT KYS!!! Ah yes lets use R15 so x86 E-waste garbage competitors look better go f*** urself x86 rat!

16inch M5MAX scores 748/9700 in CB2026 and 216/2500 in CB2024 by using TG pro or MacsFanControl

Since Apple crawls up the a** of pedophile Trump I will never buy a Apple made product ever again. I have a lot of Apple stuff, 3 i9 laptops, iMacs #iPhones, iPad Pro, but MAGA destroyed the image Apple created for itself through marketing. So Cupertino can go to hell, and hopefully a lot of Apple fans, like I was,  will do the same as I do. BoycottApple!

But what will you be buying then?

You do realize that every single Big tech CEO shook hands, bent the knee and gave money / gifts to Trump, right?

All of them. Jeff Bezos, Jensen Huang, Satya Nadella, Sundar Pichai, Lisa Su, Tim Cook, etc.

So if you adamantly really want to take this stance, you will have to literally boycott everything.
