I usually photograph with a Nikon Z Full-Frame, otherwise with the iPhone. I expect a lot, but I'm also realistic.
I downloaded all the photos in full size and viewed them on a 32-inch screen, and overall, I would quite clearly prefer the Vivo.
At night, one can and should compensate for both: the Xiaomi tends to have longer exposure times, which is why, for example, the fine details in the water blur, while the Vivo overexposes the images too much, turning black into gray and making the image flat and unnatural, i.e., one should expose more strongly.
Especially with the telephoto images and those taken from the high-rise on cloudy days, the Vivo indeed shows significantly more details, which surprises me a bit.
The extreme Tele with Digitalcrop enhance and confirm this impression. Very helpful for me, as I could save some money. If the Vivo 300 Ultra is even better... oh dear. Thanks for the pictures, great work!
Compared to the iPhone 17 Pro, I find the JPGs surprisingly good and would particularly prefer the Vivo. But if I use proraw I still prefer the iphone pics with 24 and 100mm. But therefore I have to work for it.
