AI is Nvidia's new bread and butter. They're trying to leverage their dominance over PC gaming to sell people on AI. The goal here is to use their existing customer base to help facilitate Nvidia's transition away from gaming and into AI.
Now, it's not that Nvidia is necessarily working toward the following, but what you will end up seeing is that governments around the world will enact new laws requiring companies such as Nvidia to adapt these technologies so they may be used to censor content.
And I'm not talking about putting more clothes on half naked women, although you'll probably see that in some corners of the world, but more likely these technologies will be used to censor dissenting political content.
For example, in the movie Robocop there are these funny little commercials peppered throughout the film obviously making fun of capitalism. If this were a video game in a few years, DLSS 7 will be used to alter those funny little commercials so they make fun of something the ruling political party would rather see ridiculed instead.
Of course, you wont be told any of that. Rather, you'll be told that the use of these technologies for censorship purposes is necessary to protect your children from harmful and predatory content.
