An Apple VP has claimed in a recent interview that the MacBook Neo does not feature any design compromises, which definitely appears to be an honest take. The Neo has many compromises, but its design and build quality are unlikely to draw any major complaints.

Now, dear ofc APPLEwould say this, explain how 8 GB of RAM fits in the look/aesthetics and build quality of the laptop (which is why it's slightly heavier); does more RAM actually make more sturdier (and lighter) laptop, with better overall build quality and even nicer colours?

Wait for v2, Apple is notoriously issuing half-baked v1 to test the waters - and then all of a sudden they will be able to outfit the v2 with 12 GB of RAM and a basic backlit keyboard for the same price.

You guys are honestly arguing over a multi trillion $ companies product when WW3 is just about to start which intern will further exacerbate the already dismal supply / pricing issues. It's already being reported from multiple insiders within OEMs and distribution channels that laptop prices are soon about to go up by a further 50% or more for all OEMs, irrespective of your opinion on apple.
