Some buyers are now gravitating toward Mini-LED technology to avoid regrets. Still, a new 3000-hour burn-in test suggests that the OLED monitor issue may be overblown. Overwatch 2 caused the most defects due to high-contrast bars and indicators that remain in the same position.

Just a hint for some users: if you slightly lower brightness, your screen will last a ton more; be it oled, be it backlit (IPS, etc.)

no burn-in

Using my S95B OLED TV as monitor for like 2 years now. Settings: Warm2 and the brightness is set to medium, 28/50 and 0 burn-in and this is despite being the first OLED generation). Any power saving settings are disabled and the TV auto-dimms to prevent burn-in, so a burn-in is basically impossible, unless I'd try for force it.
