Minisforum's X1 Lite enters the mini PC segment as a performance-focused system that prioritises higher power limits. In a recent video, ETA Prime put the device through a series of gaming and thermal tests to evaluate how it behaves under real-world workloads and how far its integrated graphics can be pushed.

Funny the difference in pricing a mere few months make...

Back in November 2025 I picked up a similar mini-pc (same spec's different OEM) for about ~$400 shipped.

Given that many of the 'handheld PC' type devices have AMD 740/760/780M iGPU's and these devices are 'flying off the shelves', this device is a no-brainer purchase.

Add a Oculink dock & an AMD Desktop GPU card and BINGO - a servicable Linux Gaming PC.
