World's cheapest Tesla launches at $29,000 and comes with a lot of compromises

Tesla has found a way to offer the proverbial $25,000 electric car that was supposed to be called the Model 2 and be a shrunken version of the Model Y. Instead of coming with a brand new vehicle model, however, it has used an existing production line.
