Super Mario Bros. Wonder is being updated with new areas, modes, and characters. Yet, the price of the Switch 2 upgrade pack is too steep for some gamers who aren't interested in multiplayer. Nintendo detractors believe they are regularly asked to pay more for games they already own.

As if Sony were any better with their Days Gone, Spider-Man and Horizon: Zero Dawn PS5 remasters. But then again people sleep when Sony does it, but then they get wide awake, pissy and boiling mad when Nintendo does it as per usual with this double-standards world.

The difference is that you can buy most of those games on other platforms.  If you want to play Nintendo only games like Mario, they bleed players for greed rather than what the games are worth.

Nintendo games are literally not worth the asking price. Mario Kart World has no single player content, Banaza is short, Kirby D Riders have 1 good mode and is super under baked.

And between all those games you expect people to buy 5 to 20 dollar upgrade dlc packs?

Sony also does remakes of slop no one ask for, but I can just not buy it and play games completely unavailable on switch 2 like
Marvel Rivals, Baulders Gate 3, Expedition 33, Silent Hill 2/f

Not to mention the list of PS plus games I beat without paying full price. 3 months is like $50 and I beat games such as
Red Dead 1, Unicorn Overlord, Coral Island, Rune Factor, Blue Prince, Hollow Knight, Death Stranding, Omega Quintet, Dave the Diver, Persona Tatics, Ys, Sifu
I could keep going.

I've owned every Nintendo console before the switch 2 I've only ever owned a PS3 and I got the PS5 last year. It's been my primary gaming console since.

Nintendo has not priced consumers like me out, many of us have just reached our scoff price.
Instead of a switch 2, Mario kart world and Kirby Air Ride (the only games I want) for $500 dollars I'll add $300 and buy a laptop with RTX 4060 have access to more games, mods and emulators.
