One of the wildest rumors surrounding the Xiaomi 17 Ultra has apparently been confirmed shortly before its official launch in China. Screenshots of the camera app circulating online point to a proper continuous zoom with variable focal length based on a 200MP sensor, but there are also drawbacks to this solution.
