Imagine though if they'd actually made this good.
The whole reason people even bought the virtual boy retroactively was for it to be part of their console collection, maybe have a neat conversational piece, let people try it out for all of like 10 minutes.
It's like the other comment said; it failed for a reason.
Now, if they actually updated it to be like virtual reality headsets that exist today... That would have actually been awesome. Call it Virtual Boy 2 or something like Virtual Boy Advanced. Have the original games available on the online membership store, sure, but also like... Let people really immerse themselves into already existing games, make it something useable for new Switch games. Make updated versions of those older games, make new ones that utilize its functionality. Keep the nostalgic look, but make it actually worth getting, you know? It would have been such a golden idea.
In an age where VR headsets are actually now a real reality, there's no reason not to utilize that technology or even build on it to make something novel and unique.
