Seeing that the pre-2022 iPad has always seen yearly releases, I don't doubt Apple will return to a similar launch schedule for the 12th-gen iPad. I'm personally looking forward to the 12th-gen iPad since the RAM bump can finally make it a worthy everyday tablet.
Considering the release cycle of the iPad mini, I don't think we'll be seeing the 8th-gen successor anytime soon. After all, iPad mini has always seen a release gap of between two to three years (or four years, in the case of the 2019 iPad mini 5th-gen launch). I'd be surprised if it launched sometime in H2 2026, considering that the current iPad mini 7th-gen was launched three years after the 6th-gen was released.
