A noted X leaker has revealed four Arc B-branded iGPUs from Intel. Two of them will be used with previously leaked Panther Lake CPUs, and the remaining will be used with other models.

The prices of laptops with Panterlake and 12Xe3 processors are approaching $2,000, which seems insane to me, and Intel won't sell any. Besides, these laptops will be very scarce. Laptops with Intel Panterlake are doomed from the start, as they will only last 10 months, since Novalake is coming and changing everything; that one is truly interesting. Intel should have released Novalake instead of Panterlake, which, as Intel has stated, is merely a transitional step without many changes compared to Lunarlake, except for the iGPUs. Even so, none of the Intel Panterlake laptops outperform any AMD Halo laptop.

PTL doesn't compete with Strix Halo, it competes with Strix Point which it will mop the floor with once it releases. all the leaked benchmarks point to rtx 3050 level performance at less than half the wattage of a discreet 3050 4gb. If Intel released a chip with 20+ EUs AND specifically marketed it as a midrange AI/workstation/gaming iGPU, then it would compete with Halo. you are comparing two completely different product segments.
