The Asus ROG NUC 2025 now has a new rival. Called the Thunderobot Mix G2, the new mini-PC surpasses Asus' gaming mini-PC with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU, as well as an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and up to 64 GB of RAM.

The price on these kinds of machines does my head in... A laptop with the same specs (255HX + 5070 Ti) laptop is, on average, $600 LESS.

So what do you get for SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS? No keyboard, no monitor, no touchpad, no webcam, less portability.

The whole point of these machines should be to provide gaming laptop performance at a discount, due to all the laptop components you're NOT getting.
