Toby Fox said in a Bluesky post that he's begun private playtests of Deltarune Chapter 5, sharing a friend's positive reaction even as he acknowledges personal doubts about whether the chapter will meet expectations even as the October 31, 2025 release of Chapters 3 and 4 earned an "Overwhelmingly Positive" Steam rating.
