Apple recently updated the entry-level MacBook Pro with the M5 SoC, while ignoring the rest of the Mac lineup. As such, the high-end Mac lineup continues to be based on the M4 generation. All this is expected to change next spring, when the company is likely to reveal the powerful M5 Pro and M5 Max SoCs.
