The Dell Pro Max 16 Plus is a unique workstation with its DGFF card, CAMM2 RAM, 4K UHD 120 Hz OLED touchscreen, and modular USB-C ports. Do the fancy features translate to faster performance?

I wish more AMD models had CAMM2 memory; for me, this is essential in a laptop these days.
I hope the next AMD GorgonPoint laptops have CAMM2.

Only 6400 tho

It's CAMM2, but it's only 6400 MT/s SO-DIMM speeds. I expected at least 7500 to 8000 MT/s. Even Wiki confirms this:
Quote from: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAMM_(memory_module)Compared to SO-DIMM, CAMM provides lower thickness, enables faster speeds above 6400 MT/s (hence higher bandwidth), [..].

Indeed, Anything Point 15-35W TDP SoC starting from 2026 using this would be nice if the speed is at least at 8000 MT/s. If the industry cares about AI speed / token per second generation, they need to increase the memory bandwidth (and for prompt processing, the GPU core count). After all, increasing the memory bandwidth (due to mainly AI usage) is the main reason for CAMM2, CUDIMMs, etc. existence.

Quoteno ECC RAM options
Indeed, how is this "Pro"? This term is so diluted. Even my desktop has ECC UDIMMs.

Pro Max Plus with Ultra CPU....

Can bullshit marketing bingo get more ridiculous ?

Is it still have annoying clearly visible touch layer on top of oled screen as it was on dell precision 5680?
