New 50 MP CMOS sensor announced with DJI Osmo Pocket 4 plus Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi high-end smartphones rumoured targets

DJI is expected to present the Osmo Pocket 4 soon. In the meantime, OmniVision has now presented the OV50R40 specifically for high-end 'action, vlog and pocket cameras'. Apparently, Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi are also on board to use OmniVision's new 50 MP and 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor.
