Tesla cynics issued a resounding "I told you so," to Cybertruck owners after the electric pickup truck's owner's manual appeared online in its entirety and revealed hefty cleaning requirements to keep the stainless steel blemish-free.

Guaranteed every single owners manual of every single car will tell you to immediately wash off CORROSIVE substances to maintain the finish.

denatured alcohol is good for cleaning stainless steel in general, especially for getting fingerprints off of "stainless" steel appliance doors and surfaces

Having owned a Cybertruck now for over a year and a half, and exposing it to rain, sun, snow, ice, de-icer and other chlorides, tree leaves and needles, dust and dirt, etc, I can safely say that it's the easiest vehicle I've ever owned to keep looking nice. It lives outside 24/7. With no fragile clearcoats or thin coatings to worry about, the surface can be brought back to new with simple polishing. The metal is very thick so you don't have to worry about polishing through it like you do with clear coats.
