Wallet app on iOS 26 confirmed to store U.S. passports later this year

Apple has confirmed that Digital I.D., a feature in iOS 26 that allows users to store passports, will roll out this year for United States passports only. This should make traveling (at least for citizens of the U.S.) a bit more seamless for iPhone users.
