iPhone 17 series may not charge faster with older third-party power bricks

The iPhone 17, 17 Pro and Pro Max have just launched alongside a series-first upgrade rated to allow them to charge by 50% in as little as 20 minutes. A review of this technology suggests that it is enabled by a specific version of USB-C charging, that is, moreover, available only from Apple in just one of its own-brand power bricks at the time of writing.
