2K confirms Civilization 7 developer Firaxis has laid off unspecified number of workers

The move, confirmed by parent company and publisher 2K comes after months of struggles at the studio following a somewhat undwhelming Civilization VII launch that also saw mixed reviews amid an attempt to capture more casual and console-based players by the developer.

I still have to play Civ 5.. Didn't like cartoonish graphics of Civ 6 and don't like leaders switch and the feeling of unfinished Civ 7, so here we go.. They just should make a remaster of Civ 5 with some features that people liked in Civ 6
