The OnePlus 15 has shown up on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, 16 GB of RAM and Android 16. Its performance is rather disappointing because the chip is not running at its full potential.

At the beginning of this article it states the OnePlus 15 performance is disappointing due to it's SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 not running at it's full potential. Well even under those conditions it's performance will still be superior to Google Pixel 10 Pro LX running on its best potential and as a Qualcomm loyalist Google took a step backwards when they ditched Qualcomm for the inferior Tensor SoC. And my dated OnePlus 11 still outperforms many Google Pixel phones that are newer. OnePlus makes great phones while giving the best bang for the buck. To sum it up, if history repeats itself, with
the Pixel 10 Pro LX gives you less performance for a higher price while the OnePlus 15 gives you more performance for a lower price.

Google switched to Tensor (now fully their own design unlike in 1-4) to focus exclusively on AI stuff. Qualcomm is indeed better in everything but NPU/TPU where Tensor is simply light years ahead of everyone else in the mobile phone market, and that's the main thing that matters to Google and to their business model.

Also, where is OnePlus 14? Why 13 to 15?

Edit: Ah, superstition.
