New research led by a Purdue University assistant professor and her Ph.D. student shows that a typical hairstyling routine involving heated tools can expose individuals to nanoparticle pollution comparable to standing in dense highway traffic.

Lol these articles are hilarious. But that's one of the "benefits" of A"I" - pushing insane amounts of irrelevant off topic quantity over proper on topic quality.

In other news, today's day at the beach was amazing.

 BREAKING NEWS!!!

Has NBR really fallen this low ?
I remember when they actually posted news on Tech and not these types sensationalist stories with zero bearing.
NBR is based in brainwashed Germany so that this explains a lot

Sergey

Guys, if you don't like science articles, that's perfectly OK but please don't accuse us of posting AI content.

Notebookcheck is an Austrian company. Either way, I would think twice before calling Germany, the EU's most populous and most economically sound state, "brainwashed" if I were you.

As a hairdresser it is especially dangerous to us just look at the lung cancer statistics for women in my profession particularly the 40& 50 plus years in the industry

Sergey

I see your point, Worgarthe. Well, for what it's worth, I can tell you that we won't be hiring more science writers this year.

Do keep in mind that doing full-scale laptop, tablet etc testing has never been cheap and so increasing the volume of news articles helps Notebookcheck pay those bills.

I wish we could offer a more in-depth coverage of traditional subjects like CPUs and SSDs instead of expanding the range of subjects but ex-Intel and ex-Micron engineers are in no hurry to apply for our writing positions, for whatever reason....

Shelly Brassfield : / I suppose keeping windows open at all times helps?
