TSMC is not buying Intel but may have to double its 2nm Arizona foundry investment

TSMC may have to drastically increase its investment in the US if it wants to avoid the crushing tariff on semiconductors made in Taiwan that the US is readying to impose. Buying Intel, however, is a subject of separate negotiations that TSMC may not be involved in.
