I'd absolutely love to see a full review on this 375 model with the 5080 or 5070ti spec! I'm put off by how heavy it is, but if the battery life and performance reaches its potential, I'd be willing to put up with that.
I really hope this is a start to a promising market of thicker, cooler gaming laptops with high performance-efficiency CPUs paired with high end GPUs. That way, people could have ample choice of whether they want higher performance or more portability for their money, without being bogged down with the infamous compromise of battery life. This approach would also be a great chance to invigorate the "caught in the middle" market of 4.3-5.5lb slim-thick gaming laptops like the non-pro Legions, Acer Predator Helios Neo S, etc. by realizing their potential in moderate portability with better cooling for higher GPU wattage limits than the ultra-portables.
I'm cautiously optimistic the industry is listening and this will become commonplace by next year... 😄🙏🏽
