The U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has imposed sanctions on Aeza Group, a bulletproof hosting (BPH) provider based in Russia, for facilitating cybercriminal operations that affect victims across the globe. BPH providers such as Aeza Group deliver internet hosting services designed to resist takedown efforts and law enforcement intervention, thereby enabling unlawful or harmful online activity.
