The new Casio MTG-B4000 series watches just went live in Japan, with unique AI-developed carbon–metal hybrid frames. These models come with shock resistance, solar power, Bluetooth, Multiband 6, and high-end finishing - and are now available for purchase.

I'm curious to know what happened with "Premium, powerful and real eye-catchers thanks to their striking design — the Metal Twisted G-SHOCK watches need no introduction.", Casio's very own words about the MTG. This here is neither of that, and most certainly it isn't "eye-catching" nor "striking design". It's as boring and as generic as it gets, but I'm assuming that's what you get when you let AI to "design" the watch.

This is fine for G-Steel, but to call this an MT-G is a comedy, despite the technology used under the surface. MTG-B2000 and B3000 are running circles around this, and they are true to the quote above. I'll stay with my MTG-B3000DN, zero intention to get this flop unless it drops to the mentioned G-Steel price (~300€), which it won't, so... I do, however, plan to get the MTG-B3000PRB if I could ever find that one anywhere in stock...
