New Garmin Forerunner smartwatches get improved battery life in update

The recently released Garmin Forerunner 570 and Forerunner 970 smartwatches are receiving their first update: software version 6.17. The release is said to improve the battery life estimate of two of the three new running wearables. Plus, Garmin states that it has made two other changes.
