Microsoft has announced a new 13-inch Surface Laptop version that is remarkably weaker than its 13.8-inch and 15-inch counterparts. It comes with a weaker 8-core Snapdragon X Plus SoC, just 16 GB RAM/512 GB storage and a 60 Hz screen.

IMHO: honestly the Snapdragon versions ought to be priced in the $400-600 range given their limited performance/functionality.
