Gamers Nexus launches a new RMA investigation series, uncovering potential AM5 platform instability with Ryzen 7000X3D chips—though testing is halted by physical damage to the socket.

My conclusion is that if the issues were with Intel CPU's or Nvidia GPU'S the title and overall tone of Gamernexus video would have been completely different.

Any sort of issue with Nvidia or Intel hardware and Steve starts a full on PR assault.

If it is AMD, then it is meh, let's focus on the board manufacturers RMA process.

The guy will say whatever gets him hits.

Where is the outrage? AMD is a joke.

All these idiots went from Intel to Amd for Cpus and are now fukd - this is becoming a bigger issue than Intel 13/14 gen but is being buried in the news cycle.

Also the 9800X3D is a one trick pony that gets you a little more fps. We need workstation cpus, mining cpus...

You had almost convinced me, the "mining cpus" bit gave it away.

This is because the CPU did not fail, When tested on a different board, It worked perfectly.
Your illogical bias is very apparent here.

To the guy saying that the 9800X3D is a one trick pony is a fool, it is a CPU made specifically for gaming not workstations or mining, but for those purposes AMD has the non X3D variants so this guy has no clue and should not comment unless he uses his brain first. On to Gamers Nexus. In my opinion that board was damaged by the original owner and wasn't having problems with the 9800X3D specifically. Steve got scammed in my opinion. The guy made up his trouble shooting attempts and sold his damaged board to Steve because he could not RMA it. Gigabyte has one board involved in the 9800X3D problem and I still think that was due to Operator error not the CPU.
