As Samsung's cheapest smartphone at the moment, the Galaxy A06 naturally has to save on features. However, it still offers 4 years of updates and a fairly bright screen for less than 100 Euros (~$116). Is it enough for a recommendation as a second phone and on a tight budget?

Swizzy

Bit odd to give it all those negative points considering the price. Of course it doesn't have those things....

NFC authentication

No NFC might be even nastier than only 4 GB RAM. Doesn't digital pass authentication require NFC?

Mopped

Quote from: NotebookcheckIn Germany, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy A06 for just under 90 euros (~$105) online, for example at amazon.de.
A non-profit organization examined the Samsung A and M series models a little while back and found that they embed spyware from an Israeli firm into the phones. This can pose a surveillance and/or security risk to the user, depending on where they live. I would be wary of using a Samsung phone in Germany for example, because of the German government's deep ties with the Israeli public and private sectors.
