I'm guessing you haven't learned to read yet because AMD chips top each and every chart and that "20 hour" battery is not true, closer to 15-16 and NBC already has several Intel and AMD laptop battery tests that surpass the overhyped M series that ACTUALLY deliver 20 hour battery life.

AMD has been outperforming Intel for the last three years with higher-performance, energy-efficient laptops with CPUs and iGPUs, which is why no one buys Intel and everyone chooses AMD.
We mustn't forget that Apple uses ARM, and Intel and AMD x86 are very different.
In any case, the price difference between Apple and x86 processors is very much in favor of x86 chips.
We'll see what happens when the new Nvidia+Mediatek ARM CPUs come out.

Is this a joke? Apple sells the Air for $999, with the fastest single core processor available, and a multi core that beats 98% of x86 mobile processors. Along with best in class screens, build quality and extras like MagSafe. They include so much value now because Apple Silicon SOCs are so much cheaper than the trash intel mobile processors they were forced to use in the Air before Apple Silicon.
