Rumors suggest that the Matter 1.5 release will bring support for two new types of smart home products. According to a leaker on X, at least six companies will offer these Matter-compatible smart gardening products. Matter 1.5 will follow the November 2024 release of Matter 1.4, which added support for heat pumps, water heaters and solar power devices.
