Computer repair distro SystemRescue 12.00 launches with the latest LTS kernel and more

With a history of over two decades and formerly known as SystemRescueCD, the Arch-based SystemRescue live environment has just received the update labeled 12.00. This refresh comes with the 6.12.19 LTS kernel, bcachefs support, Firefox 128.8.0 ESR, and Xfce 4.20.1, as well as several other package updates.

What is the point of creating a very thoroughly package of linux tools if only a few know how to use them, especially in case of a system crash.  As the included tools are individually available for download on the net, it would be more worthwhile to spend the time creating a step-by-step manual on how to use those tools to recover a damaged linux system.

I've been using System Rescue for longer than I can remember. For the most part, I use gparted to manage the partitions on my computers (I dual-boot Windows with GNU/Linux - currently Garuda-KDE-Lite), but on a few occasions I have used testdisk to recover partitions following some fatal error (usually caused by my lack of attention when clicking/pressing the Enter key, IIRC). I keep a shortcut/desktop link to the System Rescue Documentation on both my Windows and GNU/Linux desktops so I can find out how to use some new-to-me tool/utility when things go awry. System Rescue has been a life saver for me on many occasions,
