Free RPG exits early access and claims top spot on Steam charts

After two and a half years in Early Access, a highly anticipated RPG launched its full version on January 2 and has quickly captured players' attention. Within a day of its release, it climbed to the top spot in Steam's "Trending Free" category.

It's fun, but the monetization complaints are justified. Borderline mandatory QOL shouldn't be pay-walled. It's an entirely different game without many of the QOL features. Pause button, useful auto disassemble, auto rebirth (with features being split across multiple purchases to make it useful), etc.
