Modretro touts its Chromatic as a handheld console recreation that is as faithful to the OG Game Boy Color as possible - except for the backlighting for a display that is also rated to have sapphire-grade protection. That spec has now been put to the test by a famous YouTuber, along with its ability to use nostalgia-ridden cartridges such as The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.
