BMW plans to launch its first hydrogen-powered vehicle by 2028, using fuel cell technology developed with Toyota. Like the company's iX5 Hydrogen, it will likely feature fast refueling and a 500 km+ range. The two companies' fuel cell prototypes aim to make hydrogen a competitive alternative to battery-electric cars.
