Why is Notebookcheck promoting the policies of a facist, racist, bigoted, Trumpian wanna-be dictator when they should be calling out the serious problems this legislation poses to free speech in the state of Florida? I don't read Notebookcheck for tone-deaf takes on politics, I come here  for in-depth hardware reviews but I'm seriously reconsidering visiting this site again. This isn't the first time you've posted an article with questionable content and an author that either doesn't understand the context of what they're talking about or is promoting a problematic view point. It also seems to be a repeating pattern that the editors either don't care about or actively encourage and I'm not sure which one is worse. Everyone at Notebookcheck needs to do better, if that's not possible then you need to stay in your lane and cover topics that drew readers to your site in the first place or you will lose them.

"Children" aged 12-14 years old can easily bypass all these restrictions.
Freedom of speech will suffer if censorship is imposed on adults (who have legal capacity).

Actually, the problem with this whole check is that not children, but adults will be forced to de-anonymize at the legal level in order to prove that you are over 14+(16, 18, 21+) years old. Beyond the legal level, intelligence agencies already know everything about extrajudicial methods of controlling the Internet.

There is only one way to deal with this - don't visit social networks like me. But if the social hamsters really want to, even the consequences of legal de-anonymization will not stop them.

You people are tightening the noose around your own neck, allowing you to build new levels of control.

As for children, I strongly support their isolation from social networks. They have nothing to do there.
