Out of the four, Sony and Huawei are my favourites. The Xperia 1 Mk5's new primary camera is a massive improvement over the previous three generation models. I cannot wait to see what Sony plans for the Mk2 Xperia Pro-I. Meanwhile, Huawei's 10-stop variable aperture should be a mainstream feature for future premium flagship phones. With current smartphones' primary camera sensor size getting bigger, it makes a lot of sense to have variable aperture as bigger sensor means shallower depth of field.

Hi
I am an expert in camera department and this article is not very good because you should have mentioned Oppo Find X6 pro in my tests with others this phone was the best in all condition because of three large sensor.

Best options for me as raw shooter are either Oppo find x6 pro or Xiaomi 13 ultra, but since I care a lot about reach and wideness, having 13mm like lens and 5x zoom makes me more interested in xiaomi.
Huawei got AI hi res, but I wonder about hi res raws, as for magic phone, it got lousy image processing, too much of digital noise.
Multi aperture is surely great, so is 200mp, but I would be sacrificing everything else.
Hope vivo gets it better, since they lag in zoom part and got loss of detail in hi res.
Sony got basically a vlog camera, since it can't do sharp 50mp+ photos like others and for photography difference between 12mp/25mp/50mp is visible, in a words, face/eyelashes/macro-skin

The S23 Ultra is the most balanced one with less messed up photos. The Sony surprised me, I was going into this review thinking I'd shrug it off but it always has the most technically impressive photos in terms of being natural. The P60 messes up sometimes and so does the Magic5 so they're not that dependable. Bravo Sony, good job. Samsung should give its user the ability to choose the exposure level/brightness level default, noise reduction and colour saturation levels, then they'd be great I'd say, their consistency paired with the versatility that they're starting to provide with their Camera Assistant and its wonderful sharpness reduction option was eye opening.

We still don't really know color Accuracy in daytime and night time.
Next we ars missing a very good example of how the camera records video and fast action and their respective pro modes
