The Corsair TBT200 Thunderbolt 4 Dock is selling at Amazon US for just US$279.99, US$60 off the original retail price. The gadget, released last year, provides ten additional ports, including three Thunderbolt 4 USB-C. Other ports include 15W USB-C, 2.5GB Ethernet and an SD card reader.

For the spring of 2023, it is no longer profitable to invest in obsolete docking stations for TB3/TB4/USB40 for a long time. This is already a waste of money, because. docking stations usually do not change for many years, and now a radical change in standards is coming. TB5/USB40 2.0 coming out in 2024.

All TB3/TB4/USB40 docking stations do not support the full version of DP2.0+ (80Gbps - 8k@60fps@30-36 bits lossless modes) and, accordingly, HDMI 2.1 (48Gbps) is already slightly outdated against its background, which will also be updated soon.

If there all the ports clearly work, as stated, then rather $150-160, but no more. For $280, this is already the level of docking stations with 2xDP1.4+HDMI 2.0b(or 2.1 trimmed to 40Gbps)+2xSPDIF(Optical/Copper).
