Toyota's sales are down 9% in the US as a lot of electric vehicle converts now come from its ubiquitous gas-powered cars. Its new CEO just announced an electrification strategy that will see Toyota introduce 10 new EV models by 2026, including a 3-row SUV in the US, and nearly triple its hybrids' battery-only range.
