The Asus Zenfone 9 is on its way. Seemingly, a marketing video for the Zenfone 8's successor has now surfaced, revealing most major details of the compact flagship. And yes, the Zenfone 9 looks set to continue as one of the few available compact premium phones with a 5.9-inch display.

Waiting excitedly for a replacement for my venerable but golden XZ2 Compact. Zenfone 8 was a worthy compact Android successor and if Asus nail this phone right they will have the compact flagship market sewn right up. A phone you can hold and operate in one hand with this kind of performance? Perfection. Phones are just too big these days and I laugh watching people use something the size of a small tablet with both hands and then trying to cram it into a jeans pocket.
