These Asus TUF laptops just keep getting cheaper. The similar TUF FX705 and FX505 with Ryzen 7 and faster GTX 1650 graphics are also on sale for $600 to $700 USD likely for a limited time. These are Asus' latest budget models unveiled at CES 2019.

Sorry i bought one. I called asus about 5 times to get information about upgrading the drive and got conflicting information and was told that the only drives tested were a 256 and 512 gb drive and they would not guarantee a 1tb would work. They have a habit of using generic info not specific to this model saying that it can take both a ssd up to 1tb and a hd. This is even present on the readers comments by the questions answered by asus on the best buy site for the dd model
