Apple has taken off the covers of its both its long-anticipated all-new Mac Pro and companion 32-inch Pro XDR 6K display. At US$4,999 it is far from cheap, but for what it offers it is arguably a good value proposition.

The airy thin stand looks like it depends on a heavy desk to support it.  A bumped table could result in a precariously teetering screen, or worse if not fastened down.

Looking around it seems the questions at this point are whether this is hardware-calibrated with a 3D LUT, and whether the illumination uniformity matches EIZOs around the same price point.
